  • Raised in a small suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (a town of ~ 4,000 people) surrounded by a family of contractors/builders; dad was a VFW Post Commander who helped build & then managed the local VFW for over 50 years; mom is famous for her “red devils food” cake.
  • High school class valedictorian, voted “Most Diplomatic”
  • Graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Speech Pathology; recipient of the Carol Jones Award for Clinical Excellence; presented research at industry conventions & published in national journal.  Completed the American Speech & Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Clinical Fellowship Year at the Eastern Ohio Speech & Hearing Center in Steubenville, Ohio; joined Ohio County Schools in Wheeling, WV as a Speech Pathologist; served the county’s mentally handicapped population; currently certified as a Speech Pathologist by ASHA.
  • Joined Pacific Bell on the management hire program; promoted to executive level positions in operations, engineering & planning, software development and marketing; managed statewide networks, systems & organizations along with capital construction and project budgets of >$120M; recipient of the Pacific Bell Quality Award; received a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Management from Golden Gate University; completed the Executive Program in Advanced Network Integration at Carnegie Mellon University.
  • Recruited by Accenture (then, Andersen Consulting) into the global Customer Relationship Management group – assigned to Europe & North America; responsible for business development & sales, working with the major telecom & broadcasting companies through privatization, establishing their overall business architectures, processes and systems architecture for customer & network management and billing, at a corporate and business unit level, focusing on overall profitability.
  • Creator of the “Dogs of Danville … and their Area Friends” calendar, now in its 5th year; proceeds benefit the San Ramon Police Dept. K-9 Fund.
